Description
Well developed veszelyite crystals have formed on a theisite covered matrix. Veszelyite is a rare copper zinc phosphate mineral that forms tabular crystals with an incredibly deep blue color. The veszelyite on this specimen are sharp, lustrous, and most have detailed structures. The matrix has a rich covering of theisite, which is another rare copper zinc mineral. Both theisite and veszelyite can only be found at a small handful of localities around the world, with nicer quality crystals such as these being even more difficult to come across, especially when they’re both on the same piece! Minor hemimorphite in association. A nice rarity!
