Description
Here is a gorgeous specimen featuring hematite included quartz crystals. The hematite inclusions give the quartz a vibrant orange color. This was part of a recent small find and is a nice representation for this variety of quartz. The crystals are bright and lustrous on one side, and the other half shows a light, chalky coating over the crystals. I believe the coating can be removed with a little scrubbing if one desires. A stunning piece from a rare locale!
