Description
Quartz has formed with epidote on matrix. The epidote formed epimorphic casts after calcite. There are little holes throughout the piece where the calcite previously dissolved away. There are plenty of quartz crystals that formed throughout the piece as well that have nice luster and recrystallization along the side of the piece. Some of the quartz have epidote inclusions, and a couple are included with a few tiny quartz crystals. Two of the quartz have chipped terminations. Despite the damage this is a beautiful and unique specimen from the recent finds!
