Description
The specimen consists of a thin wedge of matrix with a deposit of drusy quartz over small fingers of very pale blue grey smithsonite on hetaerolite. Both the back and front of the specimen are crystallized, and the luster on the quartz provides some good sparkles. This piece comes from the rare Skorpion mine in Namibia, a location where specimens were strictly prohibited from being collected by the miners.
