Description
Here is a wild looking specimen featuring quartz, fluorite and hyalite opal from the 2020 find out of Brandberg. The quartz is bone white with a spiky, explosive look. There are some green fluorite on one side that have some triangular zoning in the corners. On that same side there is some hyalite opal built up over some of the quartz and one of the fluorites. I bought a fairly large lot of this material when this find was made, and this is the only piece I got that had hyalite on it, so it is quite a rare association! An interesting combination from this small find!

- The fluorite reacts blue. The hyalite fluoresces green, although not as bright as most hyalite reactions
