Description
Here is a nice optical Muzo quartz crystal. The crystal is long and slender with a “read-through” transparency. The quartz tapers going up toward the termination, and the sides have lateral striations all the way down. The bottom is partly recrystallized and has a bunch of little triangles on it. There are some nicely saturated rainbow refractions when backlit with white light too. A fine crystal from a location known to produce some of the world’s best quartz!
