Description
This piece is known as “gitterquarz” or lattice quartz and comes from a small, recent find. The quartz seeded itself along the directional planes of the lattice or axes of the feldspar crystal, which oriented the quartz in an orderly formation. Part of the specimen looks just like Japan Law twins, and while the angles look the same, these are technically not twinned. Tourmaline needles can be seen included throughout the quartz as well. A super unique piece, and a rare formation for quartz!
