Description
Here is a fantastic combo featuring schorl tourmaline with smoky quartz and daylight fluorescent hyalite opal. The tourmaline are well formed, and the main crystal is quite substantial in size. The hyalite opal on this piece covers a generous amount of surface area, and you can see in some of the slides that many of the smoky quartz and tourmaline have been completely covered by hyalite. I have a feeling the botryoidal mineral in slide 5 is not hyalite, but no idea what it could be. This is an outstanding example in terms of both locale and species as a whole!
