Description
This specimen is composed of hemimorphite on fluorapatite over smithsonite. Blue smithsonite can be seen along the exposed area and then subsequently covered with fluorapatite. The fluorapatite has a pastel green color with botryoidal formations. The hemimorphite crystals are small, but gemmy, and give a nice shine to the piece. Minor calcite present as well. Weakly fluorescent. A nice specimen from this rare locale!
