Description
A faden-like formation of stacked fluorapatite crystals shows intricate crystallization. This find produced unique apatite crystals with this chained structure, but what is truly unique is that many have been found with hollow interiors, as if the apatite originally formed around another mineral which later dissolved. This piece has a few small gaps between the crystals where you can see the indication of it being at least somewhat hollow on the inside. An interesting specimen! Fluoresces a yellowish color.
