Description
Here is a very light weight epimorphic cast made up of chrysocolla that has pseduomorphed malachite after azurite. The outside resembles something close to a sea urchin. Small, protruding crystals have rounded edges creating an organic and highly aesthetic appearance. Small deposits of black heterogenite appear on some of the crystals and have created some interesting dendritic forms. To top it all off, it’s covered with a layer of fine druzy quartz. A few broken crystals, but I’d consider it forgivable considering the rarity of such a piece. A very intriguing specimen, and unlike anything else I’ve seen before!
