Description
Copper and sub-millimeter crystals of cuprite are deposited on malachite. The malachite formed a layered, bowl-shaped structure with a pale green color. The copper and cuprite create a nice contrast against the malachite. Very few specimens have come from this location, and the combination of these three minerals from here add to the rarity. This piece comes with two older labels; one of which, although deteriorated, gives the first assumption as being aragonite. A very interesting specimen from this uncommon locale!
