Description
This is a truly magnificent calcite specimen. First off, the pictures and video don’t do nearly enough justice for this piece, it is much better in person! The crystals are incredibly lustrous with very complex crystal habits. The habit is unlike anything I’ve ever seen from Tsumeb, and I’ve seen a lot of calcite from there! Very unique compared to other calcite from this mine. The crystals are similar in color to rose quartz due to trace inclusions of hematite, and the luster is like glass. Overall it is in excellent condition and displays beautifully! Pretty large too!
