Description
From a one time find back in 2013 comes this extremely rare specimen of descloizite over smithsonite topped with platy, gemmy calcite crystals. This is a virtually unheard of find for this location, and was literally 1 out of only 20 total pieces that were extracted! Such an unusual formation too! I’ve had this one along with one in my personal collection since the find was made. The other pieces from this find immediately went into private collections with not much of a chance of them surfacing back on the market. To this day I haven’t seen any pop up. An intriguing, one-off specimen!
